Subtitling glasses are smart glasses that display subtitles in the voice of a guide staff member as he or she provides commentary on a work. The multilingual version of "Translated Subtitling Glasses" supports voice recognition and subtitling in English, Chinese (simplified/traditional), and Korean, in addition to Japanese.
During the experience, visitors will watch a 5-minute Japanese-language commentary by a tour guide on the view from the observation deck of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, with subtitles in their respective languages. The value of the experience of having a live guide's commentary translated into each language with subtitles will be examined.
The Universal Communication Subcommittee aims to create a society where more and more people, regardless of disability, generation, or nationality, can enjoy the same things together.
