Smart Services Deployment Project

Smart Service Deployment Support Business

With an eye toward expanding beyond Nishi-Shinjuku to other areas of Tokyo, we are seeking proposals for projects that address the specific challenges and social issues faced by each area,
and that create services—from development and feature expansion to full-scale implementation—with the potential for future horizontal expansion.

About

With the aim of realizing "Smart Tokyo"—a vision to unlock Tokyo’s potential through digital technology—the Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation Industry-Government-Academia Consortium (hereinafter referred to as the "Nishi-Shinjuku Consortium") in Nishi-Shinjuku, a pilot area for Smart Tokyo. Through this consortium, the government, industry, and academia have collaborated to promote the urban implementation of smart services utilizing cutting-edge technologies.

To expand the results of this initiative to other areas of Tokyo, we have been implementing the “Smart Service Expansion Support Program” since fiscal year 2025 to support member companies of the Nishi-Shinjuku Consortium in creating smart services, enhancing their functionality, and expanding into other areas of Tokyo.
