We provide various types of support to companies and universities active in the consortium for service implementation, field utilization, and service deployment.

1One-stop application window and field coordination support

The MRC has established a centralized contact point to provide information on the procedures and documents required for urban implementation of advanced services and related technologies. We also support coordination with landowners and other parties regarding fields that are planned to be utilized for urban implementation initiatives.

2Promotion

Through our website and various events, we will provide opportunities to disseminate to the public our efforts to implement advanced services and related technologies in urban areas.

3Cooperation and feedback from the community

Through the intermediary of the secretariat, local companies and regional entities (shopping districts and area communities) will provide cooperation and feedback through questionnaires and other means on efforts toward urban implementation of advanced services and related technologies.

4Utilization of data in the area

The program provides data (e.g., human flow data) held by the secretariat and regional members, as well as support for the acquisition of data in the region by service/technology providing members.

5Expansion to other areas

If service/technology providing members wish to expand their services outside of the Nishi-Shinjuku area, the secretariat will introduce them to the persons in charge of other Smart Tokyo prior implementation areas, etc., and support their efforts to implement cutting-edge services and related technologies in other areas.
