Odakyu Electric Railway Co., Ltd. will conduct a next-generation communication demonstration experiment integrating XR advertising with 3D vision at Shinjuku Southern Terrace Vision (April 17, 2024 - April 30, 2024).

　(Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Shigeru Suzuki) and Odakyu Agency Inc. (Head office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Jun Yamaguchi) will conduct a demonstration experiment of next-generation communication by integrating XR advertising with 3D vision as part of the "Subcommittee to Study Urban Implementation of XR to Enhance Regional Appeal " in the "Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation Industry-Government-Academia Consortium. (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Jun Yamaguchi) will conduct a demonstration experiment of next-generation communication by integrating XR advertising with 3D vision as part of the "Subcommittee to Study Urban Implementation of XR for Enhancing Local Attractiveness" of the "Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation, Industry-Government-Academia Consortium.

　The purpose of this experiment is to verify whether XR technology can add value to conventional advertisements and improve their advertising value by combining XR technology with outdoor advertising media compatible with naked-eye 3D vision, as well as to identify technical issues for the development of XR technology and to create the groundwork for the creation of new rules for outdoor advertising and identify problem points.
