The Nishi-Shinjuku Consortium for Advanced Service Implementation, Industry-Government-Academia" held a report meeting on the results of its activities in FY2022!
In September last year, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government established the "Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation Industry-Government-Academia Consortium (*1)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Consortium") in order to further promote efforts toward urban implementation of cross-disciplinary services, such as urban development and work styles, utilizing 5G and advanced technologies in Nishi-Shinjuku, a Smart Tokyo Advanced Implementation Area. (*1)" (hereafter referred to as "the Consortium"). In September last year, the "Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation Industry-Government-Academia Consortium (*1)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Consortium") was established to further promote efforts toward urban implementation of services.
As part of the Consortium's efforts, the "Digital Society Human Resource Development Program (*2)" is being implemented with the aim of fostering human resources who will take on the challenges of the city by utilizing digital technology for students.
We are pleased to announce that we will beholding a results briefing session atas an opportunity to disseminate the results of the Consortium and the Digital Society Human Resource Development Program for the current fiscal year as follows.

Internships were provided to companies participating in the consortium. Through participation in the actual projects and workshops being conducted in Nishi-Shinjuku, the interns had the opportunity to experience up-close and personal contact with people and technologies active on the front lines, and to absorb more realistic knowledge.
(*4) About the Idea Contest
As part of the Digital Society Human Resource Development Program, an idea contest was held for ideas submitted by participating students to solve social issues in Nishi-Shinjuku through the use of digital technology.

The grand prize-winning group "6 (Six)" was formed by three students who met through the Digital Social Human Resource Development Program. They came up with the idea of a social networking service exclusively for students to restore friendships lost in the Corona Disaster, and built a prototype of their idea.
