Nishi-Shinjuku "thin digital twin" was experienced by students of Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School!
Taisei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Aikawa) participated in "Project Nishi-Shinjuku" held by Shinjuku Municipal Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School as part of the "Digital Twin Subcommittee for Creating and Implementing Urban Services" initiative in the "Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation, Industry-Government-Academia Consortium. The students actually experienced the "Thin Digital Twin" in Nishi-Shinjuku.
Project Nishi-Shinjuku" is a course held by Nishi-Shinjuku Elementary School, together with local businesses and others, with the aim of encouraging students to engage in independent learning.
This time, under the theme of "Let's think about new community development using open spaces in Nishi-Shinjuku," students were asked to create their own Nishi-Shinjuku community by arranging lawns, benches, tents, playground equipment, etc. on the digital twin, which reproduced Nishi-Shinjuku as they wished it were.
