Call for participants in the "Digital Society Human Resource Development Program" to experience the workplaces of the consortium's participating companies

The Tokyo Metropolitan Government (TMG) has been implementing various initiatives, including this consortium, with the aim of implementing services utilizing cutting-edge technologies in the city of Nishi-Shinjuku, an area where the "Smart Tokyo" project is being implemented in order to draw out the potential of Tokyo through the power of digital technology and to provide a high quality of life for the citizens of the city.
As part of these efforts, we are now accepting applications for participation in the "Digital Society Human Resource Development Program," which uses Nishi-Shinjuku as a field for training students to become human resources capable of solving social issues by utilizing the power of digital technology.

Subjects

Students 18 years of age or older who belong to a university (graduate school), technical college, vocational school, etc.
No matter whether you are a humanities or science student. Students can learn necessary knowledge in this program.
 Students may live in any area, but will be required to participate locally depending on the program.

Approx. 100 persons

Participation fee

Free of charge (Transportation expenses are to be borne by the participants)

4. Implementation details

(1) Digital Course
Through lectures, group work, and fieldwork by leading experts, participants will learn a wide range of topics, from problem identification to solution methods utilizing the power of digital technology.
The 5-day course will be held both in person and online.

(2) Internship (*Only digital course participants can apply)

(3) Idea Contest (*Only digital course participants can apply)
(3) Idea Contest (*Only digital course participants can apply.) This contest allows students to experience a series of processes to give shape to their ideas, including thinking of a plan using digital technology and creating a prototype of the application.

(1) Digital Lecture
 From Monday, June 3, 2024 to Sunday, June 30, 2024
 Applications may be closed when the number of applicants is reached.

(2) Internship and idea contest
