Next Generation City Planning Infrastructure - Nishi-Shinjuku "Thin Digital Twin" Project Launched! ～ Pavilion for VR experience during FUN MORE TIME SHINJUKU

　Taisei Corporation (Head Office: Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo; President: Yoshiro Aikawa) announces the start of the Nishi-Shinjuku "Thin Digital Twin" project, which utilizes a highly accurate 3D urban model of the Nishi-Shinjuku area, as part of the Nishi-Shinjuku Advanced Service Implementation Industry-Government-Academia Consortium's efforts. We are pleased to inform you of the following The project aims to serve as a foundation for various services to solve urban issues, such as visualization of travel routes in Nishi-Shinjuku, consideration of future urban development, and linkage with automated delivery robots.

　A pavilion where visitors can experience the Nishi-Shinjuku "Thin Digital Twin" in VR will be set up during FUN MORE TIME SHINJUKU (November 21 (Monday) to 27 (Sunday), 2022) at the "Lawn Plaza @ Tomin Hiroba" and "Smart City Festa" (hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Digital Services Bureau). The event will be held at the "Lawn Plaza @ Tomin Hiroba" and "Smart City Festa (hosted by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's Digital Services Bureau)" during the period from April 1 (Sun.) to 27 (Sun.).
